Technical Analysis
Technical Analysis focuses on the study of price movements, using historical currency data to try to predict the direction of future prices. The premise is that all available market information is already reflected in the price of any currency, and that all you need to do is study price movements to make informed trading decisions.
The primary tools of Technical Analysis are charts. Charts are used to identify trends and patterns in an attempt to find profit opportunities. Those who follow this approach look for trending tendencies in the Forex markets, and say that the key to success is identifying such trends in their earliest stage of development.
Fundamental Analysis Fundamental Analysis focuses on the economic, social, and political forces that drive supply and demand. The premise is that macroeconomic indicators such as economic growth rates, interest rates, inflation, and unemployment can be used to make informed trading decisions. Information about economic data can be found using XE Forex News, which is free to use.
There is no single set of beliefs that guide Fundamental Analysis. Different traders look to different indicators, and weigh various indicators in different ways.
What should I use - Technical or Fundamental Analysis? Traders using Technical Analysis follow charts and trends, typically following a number currency pairs simultaneously. Traders using Fundamental Analysis must sort through a great deal of market data, and so typically focus on only a few currency pairs. For this reason, many traders prefer Technical Analysis.
In addition, many traders choose Technical Analysis because they see strong trending tendencies in the Forex market. They look to master the fundamentals of Technical Analysis and apply them to numerous time frames and currency pairs.

Miss World 2013

The 2013 Miss World pageant has been won by Miss Philippines, Megan Young, on the Indonesian island of Bali.
US-born Ms Young, 23, beat 126 other contestants and pledged to be "the best Miss World ever".
The competition was moved to Bali from the capital, Jakarta, because of protests from hardline Muslim groups.
Security for Saturday's event was high in Bali, a resort island with a majority Hindu population, but no further demonstrations were reported.
Miss France, Marine Lorphelin, came second in the contest and Miss Ghana, Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter, took third place.
Wearing a glittering gown, Ms Young, who moved to the Philippines at the age of 10, wept as the Miss World sash was put over her shoulder by 2012 winner Miss China.
She told the cheering crowd in Nusa Dua in southern Bali she would "be myself in everything I do, to share what I know and to educate people".
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country and the organisers had originally offered to abandon the contest's bikini round in an attempt to address complaints of pornography and immorality.
Protests were led by the hardline Islamic Defenders' Front (FPI), which had planned to cross to the island from East Java but were prevented when the port was shut late on Friday.
The event, broadcast in 180 countries, was guarded by heavily armed police with water cannon while some 1,000 FPI members held a prayer session at a mosque outside Jakarta.

I then went to the office and asked sir's wife why I was not told to attend the tuition class. Actually it's she who is the administrator there. She then kept on scolding me.

At that moment the sir approached me with a mobile phone on one ear and also a club in the hand. Without even talking a word with me he got together with his wife and started battering me. When I was being beaten, it was the sir's wife who gripped me tightly ... and sir began hitting me with an iron rod in the hand. I then fell unconscious. Later my mother came searching for me ... and took me to hospital.

The student further said that after being admitted to hospital bleeding from the forehead, he has now recovered. Though it is a fact that he never expected facing a beating of this sort, he was to settle his fees anyway.

Dian Kalhara's father, W.P. Samantha (46) is an invalid having had one of his legs amputated as a result of a road accident. The mother has no income and are undergoing financial hardships. A girl from Buttala has been chased from home  ......
saying that she had failed the scholarship exam

It is reported of an unfortunate incident from Buttala of an incident where a girl had been chased away from her house by her parents because she had been unsuccessful at the Year 5 scholarship exam the results of which was released yesterday.

"You failed ... and you put us in in a position where we can't live here anymore. How much we were exhausted in taking you to classes .... where are the results for all that ? ... It's better that you leave the house!" These were the words that were thrown at the child in a reprimanding tone .... and the parents had prepared a bag of clothing for her to leave the house.

On this occasion the helpless small girl having nothing else to do  ... had walked a distance of about 4 kilometers to one of her friend's houses and the householders there had looked at her problem and acted in a sympathetic manner. It was last evening that they had informed about the girl's parents to the Probation Department and also to the the Principal of the school where she had been studying.

The Principal who heard this had visited the house of the girl had called her parents and explained matters to them. The parents had responded saying that because of the scholarship for grade 5, they had kept so much hope their daughter and because she failed it was difficult for them to face society. The Principal had in return advised them that by imposing such a pressure on small children could negatively influence the education of  their education for the future.

Though ultimately the parent had taken back the daughter she had on that occasion gone back with the parents crying, and also refusing to go home with them, as was reported.

child abuse(sinhala)

Some of the increases can be explained by growing awareness of child rights leading to increased reporting of incidents, but Sri Lanka remains a country where “the family unit is extremely tight-knit and the honor of the individual reflects on the entire family,” says Alia Whitney-Johnson, the founder of an NGO working with survivors of sexual abuse in Sri Lanka, who was interviewed by TIME via e-mail. “It is extremely difficult to report abuse, particularly incest.”
That means it’s unlikely that greater reporting is behind any but a small proportion of the growing figures. Instead, “the incidence of statutory rape and child abuse in Sri Lanka is a growing problem,” UNICEF says.
The traumas suffered during Sri Lanka’s 26-year civil war, which ended in 2009, may have a role to play. “When the dust settles, that’s when it hits them. That’s when you see severe violent reactions to small things that under normal circumstances would not have happened,” explains Reza Hossaini, UNICEF’s Sri Lanka representative. “It’s a combination of a culture of silence and culture of impunity,” he says, that breeds the “continuation of violence and abuse.”

But a more important factor may be the growing number of Sri Lankan women who seek to alleviate poverty at home by taking jobs overseas as domestic helpers. The children they leave behind are often defenseless against abusive fathers and predatory male relatives. (Even so, a comparison with the Philippines — another country where large numbers of women have been obliged to find work overseas — is disconcerting. Based on available official statistics, there are roughly 17 cases of child abuse for every 100,000 people in Sri Lanka; in the Philippines, there are just six cases per 100,000 head of population.)
Typical of the case files that cross the desk of Esther Gnanakan, a child psychologist at a Colombo NGO, is that of a 10-year-old girl sexually abused by her father over a year ago. Sudden movements and sounds still frighten the girl, she suffers from nightmares and cannot control her bladder. With a mother working as a domestic helper in the Middle East and relatives unwilling to take her in, she now lives in a juvenile shelter in the Sri Lankan capital. “The child has no other place to go,” Gnanakan says. “We’re just hoping the mother will come back.”
When Whitney-Johnson first arrived and met young girls who had survived sexual abuse, she says it opened her eyes “to the reality that many children face in Sri Lanka.” The girls she worked with were “survivors of incest, and many of them had mothers who were working abroad, leaving them in the care of alcoholic fathers or stepfathers.” As they matured, some had the courage to take legal action, but “as a result, they faced years of court cases,” Whitney-Johnson says.

I was crowned to be sent as Miss Tourism .... 'My leg was broken before I went to China ...'

An exposure about Beauty Pageant mafia

Monali Dissanaike who was to represent Sri Lanka at the Miss World Contest was prevented from going abroad by the organisation and this injustice was exposed to us  by Monali. What she says is that a mafia operates at Sri Lankan Beauty Pageant contests. Those who function as organisations do not conduct any contest to select the winner and all the more they even go to the extent of taking money from the person actually sent and is involved in a racket by later giving the impression that certain NGOs make money by sending photos of the candidates abroad after holding a function here.

She says that later the organisation concerned take steps to prevent the said contestant from going abroad by giving them false reasons. According to Monali, a false promise had been given to her of sending her to the Miss World contest this year in this manner and a function was held to this effect and had informed the representatives abroad that I was suffering from a damage caused to my leg and so withhold me from attending the contest. The exposure she released to the media in this connection is as follows:
"They called me about a month ago and asked me whether I would like to participate if I was nominated for the Miss Tourism contest and also whether I would like to pay a sum of about 2 lakhs. They told me all this when I was at a Best Model Pageant and they further said that what fits me better is not modelling contests but Beauty Queen contests. They asked me to participate in such a contest and that they would give me the air ticket. So many people told me that though they give me the air ticket like that, that also is given by the money I give them. After that what they do is send bogus photos there giving the impression that a contest was held here. My friends told me that they send us after collecting our money while those abroad believe that a contest had been held here and that way they collect their money too. The married beauty queen Shrimali Fonseka also was supposed to have been asked to pay some 2000 or 200 dollars. When Nilu won her contest and came back, they had asked her some money from the 10 lakhs she got.

My friends strongly advised me against my decision but I went ... telling them that I'd somehow or other find some sponsor. I was crowned at a party and was photographed as if it all was a genuine contest. The official crowning was held at a different Best Model contest. I was crowned on that day with photos being taken in the presence of the media. And after doing all that I was told to prepare my clothes. The visa interview too was given late. Though I was told that the flight ticket had arrived, I never saw it with my own eyes. Then, only last night I was called and told, 'Now they say that you have not practised properly ... so it's not possible for us to send you to China'. I then asked why I was nominated. Their reply was, 'No ... it's not that ... we're sending you with the definite idea of getting the title ... so now we'll be sending an e-mail to China saying that you have met with an accident'. They had already sent my photos there. They once again said, 'Forget about the Tourism Queen .... there is a Pageant in Tibet ... we'll send you there'. Actually the flight was scheduled for last night ... it was all of a sudden that they said something like this. I had arranged all my clothing with the designers and I was having so much hopes.

Earlier also they had done things like this. It's because money is being remitted here from there asking them to hold the pageant here ... but what these people do is that they take that money and send photos from here as if a pageant was held here ... and once they have collected the money they wanted, they send those people there an e-mail telling all lies such as in my case. Apart from that  they arrange to give me a call by using someone from their side to frighten me saying that if I was sent ... acid will be splashed on me. But nothing like that has happened. They do that so that the impression is given that it was I myself who gave up the journey to China. Now the story had spread round that it was I who refused to go on my own.

In any case I'll be informing China that I was not suffering from a broken leg. These people make agreements with the winners too, asking them not to attend parties other than their own. Getting friendly with a boy is also prohibited. Even during the entire period I had a connection, they asked me to stop it. Yesterday a friend of mine told me, that she was told that her boy friend was of the gay-type (homosexual).

They are making plenty of money from this work ... I think from that Show they may have collected about 4 lakhs. They conduct Shows ... without giving even 5 cents to us ... saying it's to gain experience.
