The superintendent of a Watawala estate tied to a tree,while the workers protest

it is reported that the Superintendent of Lomak estate in Watawala had been tied to  a tree and the labourers have commenced a protest.
it is learnt that the Superintendent had not looked after the interest of the estate workers. Owing to such allegations from the 28^th of last month the workers had struck work.
The angry estate workers had forcibly entered the official bungalow and drawn the Superintendent by force from his bungalow and had tied him to a tree.On hearing the incident the Police from the Norton police had come and got the superintendent out of the tree he was tied to.
In order to bring about a settlement the workers congress personnel and the estate superintends  are now at a discussion.
